An allergy is a hypersensitive reaction of the body when it comes into contact with a foreign substance. The hypersensitive response comes from the natural immune system and ranges from a slightly uncomfortable feeling to a fatal anaphylaxis. Seasonal allergies are quite common. They are often characterised by a runny nose, red eyes, and itchiness.
What are the causes of Seasonal Allergies?
The substances present in the environment such as dust, pollen etc. are known as allergens. When allergens are inhaled, they cause excessive secretions in the respiratory organs, narrowing of bronchi, asthma attacks etc.
